Turkana jewelry from the semi-nomadic pastoralists Samburu tribe residing around Lake Turkana formally known as Lake Rudolf that lies within the Kenyan Rift Valley.  The Turkana people wear elaborate clothing and jewelry which are used to distinguish them between age groups, development stages and status within the community.
