Our beautiful one of kind Geometric Beaded Cameroon Shield is handmade in Cameroon by the Tikar artisans. You can place this beautiful shield on a bookshelf, mantel, or display it as. This unique home decor items is hand-carved from one piece of wood by the Tikar tribe of Cameroon in Africa. The shields are adorned with a combination of glass beads, cowrie shells and manilla string.
Traditionally, these shields were used as defensive weapons and also as decorative or ritual objects which in Cameroon symbolizes status and wealth.
