Family Tree "UJAMAA" Lamp Base with Kuba Shade
The family tree is known as Ujamaa, which is the 4th principle of Kwanzaa and means togetherness and family in Kiswahili. The "Ujamaa" art represents the extended African family living and working together to achieve a common goal which is nurturing and caring for the family.
The Ujamaa sculpture is hand carved by the Makonde tribe from Tanzania; is made out of 100% authentic bony wood. Lampshade is made out of authentic Kuba cloth from Congo.
